Special Issue on Early Modern Actors of Translation (in: Perspectives)

With Helena Taylor and Freyja Cox Jensen, I edited a special issue in the online journal Perspectives. A selection of articles was based on two workshops that we held at KU Leuven in 2020 and 2022, and aligns with the research agenda of the international network on Translating Through Time. The articles highlight case studies of translator's agency in the Early Modern Period. They are complemented with a prologue by Julie Candler Hayes and an epilogue by Klaus Kaindl that bring a historicist and theoretical perspective.
